Foreign Medals

 Sweden Red Cross Merit Medal. Maker's mark impressed on the rim "MJV Silver".   $140


Finland Pro Bengnitate Humana Medal. Instituted on January 6, 1945. Maker's mark impressed on the rim "KULTAKESKUS OY". Comes with the original envelope, on which someone has written "FINLAND for Korea" Not necessarily". I do not believe that Finland had any contingent in Korea during or after the war. The envelope is more difficult to find than the medal.   $60


Sweden (King Gustav V) Red Cross Merit Medal for volunteers in silver. Recipient"s name engraved on the reverse: "E. Forslund 1948". Maker's mark impressed on the rim "MJV Silver 1948". $150

Conditions of Sale


  • All items are described to the best of my ability, and are subject to a 15 day return privilege for an immediate refund. Items must be returned in the same condition as received. All prices and availabilities are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Payment for items ordered over the phone or by e-mail must be sent within 5 working days, or transaction is void.
  • Accepted means of payment are money orders and certified bank checks. Personal checks accepted but must clear bank before shipment (unless known to me). I do not accept credit cards. Please make money orders or checks payable to George N. Wilhelmsen.
  • I cannot offer any dealer or quantity discounts. I feel my items are competitively priced for the collector.
  • All orders are sent out insured. Please use the following to estimate how much to add to your order to cover postage and insurance.

 

For orders of

up to $100 add $9.00

$101 - $300 add $14.00

$301 - and above add $18.00

Postage might vary up or down, depending on the overall weight of the items ordered.

Postage for books is $3.00 for the first book, and 75 cents for each additional book.

Books are sent book rate (7 to 14 working days).
